Biology Club Goes "Behind the Scenes" at the
Nature Research Center (February 2013)
The Biology Club visited the Nature Research Center at the State museum in Raleigh in February. The club was given a behind the scenes tour of research and education labs, as well as other facilities, by director “Canopy” Meg Lowman. Dr. Lowman was a most enthusiastic tour guide, and the club learned about opportunities to become involved in her scientific and education projects as well as others at the museum. We then spent the remainder of the day visiting the museum exhibits.
