PIANO MEN: The Songs of Billy Joel & Elton John performed by Jim
A musical celebration of a decade we all fondly remember, the ‘70’s. The show is set entirely to the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, two of the creative icons of that period. Jim Witter is featured on the grand piano, along with his backup group of guitar, bass, flute/sax/electric keyboard and drums. Jim makes no attempt to mimic his heroes, rather uses the familiar arrangements, and his phenomenal singing ability to evoke their music. "Your Song," "My Life," "Candle in the Wind," "Daniel" and "Just the Way You Are" are just a sampling of the hits you’ll enjoy on this relaxed, intimate and fun-filled evening.
In his 40-plus years as a recording artist, spanning over 60 amazing albums, three Grammy® wins, 13 Grammy® nominations across four categories – pop, jazz, R&B and children's, one platinum album, five gold albums and a gold single, Rawls has given his audience hits including "Love's A Hurtin' Thing," "Your Good Thing (Is About To End)" and "Natural Man."
The Platters have recorded nearly 400 songs, have sold over 80 million copies of those songs, and have performed throughout the world. Their longevity and dedication has earned them many awards and an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. Some of their hits include "Only You," "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," "My Prayer," "The Great Pretender," and "The Magic Touch," just to name a few.
OF ROCK 'N ROLL - A Tribute to Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly
The Legends of Rock ‘n Roll recreates the look and sound of three of the greatest rock and roll performers of all time – Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly. The illusion is uncanny. The faces, the costumes, the movements, the songs - they are all the same. You couldn't ask for anything more.
