The University of North Carolina at Pembroke's virtual-world campus is home to the extraordinarily attractive, state-of-the-art UNCP Commons Conference Center.

The conference center provides state-of-the-art meeting space with organic features. Presenters and guests, students and faculty, gather in comfort with luxurious amenities and the latest technologies.

Adding to its allure, The UNCP Commons Conference Center is conveniently located on the south annex of the university's campus in the Dasom region of the southern continent mainland of the 3D virtual-reality Internet world Second Life. The site is immediately adjacent to the main campus in the Dotoorak region.

The conference center is custom-tailored to be a high-performance pedagogical space – a place not only for teaching and learning, but where work can be accomplished and details resolved – with a wide array of both mass communication and interpersonal communication technologies at hand.

It's ideal for classes, workshops, presentations, development sessions, colloquia, symposia and conferences.

Faculty members, students, university staff and administrators, and guests can meet, work and study in this virtual conference center while actually being dispersed across the real world.
