Scoring the Index of Clinical Stress
Follow the steps exactly and in order
1) Write your student ID on the sheet.
Reverse the scores for items 5, 8, 11, and 13.
For these items ONLY, follow this pattern.

If you scored 1, change the number to 7.

If you scored 2, change the number to 6.

If you scored 3, change the number to 5.

If you scored 4, make no change.

If you scored 5, change the number to 3.

If you scored 6, change the number to 2.

If you scored 7, change the number to 1.
2) Add your scores for each item. Make sure
to include the changes that you made for items 5, 8, 11, and 13.
3) Subtract the sum you calculated by 25.
4) Multiply your subtraction by 100.
5) Divide your multiplication by 150.
Your final score will be within a ranges of 0 to 100.
