Step 1: (A+B+C+D) = %Where A = Credit hour of productivity by department.
Provided by the Office of Institutional Research; this factor is derived by dividing the number of credit hours of classes with enrollment offered in each department by the number of credit hours of classes with enrollment offered by the University.
Where B = Number of students enrolled in classes in each department divided by the total number of all students enrolled in all the classes offered by the University. Weighted for graduate students by + .5 per student.
Where C = Average cost of monographs by each department divided by the average cost of monographs for all departments.
Where D = Department majors, inlcuding graduates not weighted, divided by total majors.
Step 2: Ratio adjusted to take into consideration new programs. Allocations for departments may show an increase up to 10% for each category.
