Greeks plan for several changes during Feb. 14 All Greek Council

By David McGee
Staff Writer

The All Greek Council met Feb. 14 in the University Center to discuss what changes the sororities and fraternities will be making in the upcoming weeks on and around the UNCP campus.

The sororities and fraternities will have the opportunity to attend IMPACT, an educational institute sponsored by UNCP and held by the North American Interfraternity Conference from April 13-15 in Fayetteville at Camp Dixie.

The weekend will challenge students to define their community based on values and ideals of their organizations.             Interacting with the fraternities and sororities will be 14 Greek Life professionals from universities across the United States, including North Dakota State University, Indiana University, Morehouse College, Elon University and University of Kentucky.

The campus is also welcoming a new sorority to its Greek community.

Sigma Omicron Epsilon, Inc., a Native American sorority, will soon be coming to the UNCP campus.

They will be a part of the Multicultural Greek Council.
