A second - semester sophomore is a student who has earned at least 45 credit hours, but less than 60 hours, and who has earned at least 30 of those hours here at UNCP.
They and all graduating seniors are asked to complete a survey on student satisfaction.
The sophomore survey addresses the following areas: faculty contributions, academic advising, academic skills labs and tutoring services and library computer services.
The survey also addresses the following offices that serve students: Career Services, Registar’s Office, Financial Aid, Food Service, Health Service, Counseling Center, Student Accounts/Cashier’s Office and the Residence Life programs.
The last item the survey addresses is overall evaluation items: quality on instruction, overall education the student is receiving and would you still choose to attend UNCP if you were starting over?
Sophomores can access their survey online at www.uncp.edu/sophomoresurvey.
Seniors who are graduating in May are asked to fill out a similar survey.
Survey items address student satisfaction in the following areas: faculty contributions, academic advising, library services and computer services.
The survey also addresses knowledge, skills and personal growth attained during the student’s time at UNCP, including the following: writing, speaking, mathematical and computer skills, ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, appreciating racial equality and appreciating gender equality.
The same overall evaluation questions as the sophomore survey are asked on the senior survey, along with plans for the future, such as military, graduate or professional school, and future jobs.
Seniors can access their survey online at www.uncp.edu/seniorsurvey.
