A student in West Hall left his room unlocked for a few minutes on Jan. 22.  When he returned, his IPOD was gone.             Students who were in the hallway said that a white male with a slim build had entered the room, according to Detective Ed Locklear of Campus Police.

Locklear advises students to keep their rooms locked at all times.

Stolen metal detector

A handheld black and yellow metal detector was stolen from Campus Police at the end of fall semester.

If the detector is returned before Campus Police receives information from other sources about its whereabouts, the guilty party will walk free, according to Chief David L. Helton.
