Black and Gold sophomore Natalie Klemann releases a pitch earlier this season. Klemann only lasted one inning and gave up five runs in game two March 26.

The Lady Braves soft-ball team couldn't get their offense going as they lost a pair of contests after hosting Peach Belt Conference opponent Flager on March 26.

Game One

Both teams remained scoreless until the sixth inning when Flagler senior second baseman Alona Personius hit the only double of the game, scoring a pair of RBIs to give the road team a decisive 2-0 victory.

The Lady Braves were led offensively by Brea Hartley, Jamie Burwell and Ashley Harrell who all recorded a hit apiece for the Black and Gold.

Junior Star Gilley received the decision for the Lady Braves after she pitched the complete game for UNCP as she allowed a trio of hits and a pair of earned runs.

Game Two

UNCP gave up a home-run to Flager senior Breezy Collins in each the first and fourth inning, en route to an 8-0 loss that finished in five innings.

The Black and Gold struggled at the plate collecting only a single hit from Hartley, but surrendered 11 hits to the opposition.

Sophomore Natalie Klemann received the decison for the Lady Braves after giving up five earned runs and four hits.

The Lady Braves record dropped to 14-21 on the season including a 3-7 record in conference play.
